    Join the hunt for wild clay! In this class we will forrage for wild clay and create one of a kind handbuilt vessels or sculptures - finishing them with our beautiful wild clay slip.

    The class will focus on how to look for, identify, and process wild clay both for slip and for a clay body.

  • Supersized Pottery - Intermediate to Advanced

    June 22nd - 23rd, 2024

    at Double Island Studio, NC

    Learn the art of stacking thrown sections to create large scale work.

    Together we will move through the step-by-step process of creating impressive, oversized pots. Learn to construct and assemble pottery sections seamlessly, troubleshoot common issues associated with large work, and create remarkable vessels that would otherwise be impossible to throw in one piece.

  • Handles from Natural Materials - All Levels

    September 28th, 2024

    10am - 4pm

    at Plays in Mud Pottery, NC

    Learn to add non-clay handles to your work with this hands-on, all-materials-provided whirlwind of a class! In just 4 hours learn different techniques while enjoying a relaxed afternoon in the studio making friends and having fun!
